The Next Ten Years: Visioning the Future through Scenario Planning
MIT CTL conference, March 27, 2008 - Crossroads 2008: The Next Ten Years of Supply Chain - Dr. Mahender Singh, MIT CTL Research Director, Supply Chain 2020 Project, discusses MIT CTL's Scenario Planning methodology that enables companies to create a future supply chain strategy that can deal with unpredictability. By working within the bounds of three distinct but plausible scenarios, supply chain professionals learn to work with uncertainty rather than try to eliminate it from forecasts, and develop a more robust strategy to identify and confront future challenges.
