Response from attendee: Someone mentioned FERPA in the meeting, so I thought I’d share this link: http://web.mit.edu/registrar/general/csip/
In my past life as an IT Director, I had to pay particular attention to FERPA as it was not uncommon to have a few students in each student class who exercised their rights to privacy via FERPA. They were usually royalty, celebreties, or sadly, people who had been stalked and were fearful to have their whereabouts known.
