Professor David Hubel and Professor Torsten Wiesel gave a special talk on Early Explorations of the Visual Cortex, followed by a discussion moderated by Professor Mark Bear on contemporary issues of visual cortex plasticity and visual information processing. This event took place on October 14, 2011, and was a PILM Postdoc Association initiative sponsored and hosted by The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, The McGovern Institute, and The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT.
