The Center for Collective Intelligence

In a piece produced for exhibit at the MIT Museum, Professor Thomas Malone discusses the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, where the basic research question is, How can people and computers be connected so that collectively they act more intelligently than any person, group, or computer has ever done before? Malone outlines the research projects at the Center for Collective Intelligence, and discusses the application of collective intelligence to "wicked problems" like global climate change.
