Jason Scott (’10 Course 7) and Ryan Jackson (’10 Course 6) worked closely with the MIT Public Service Center during their senior year to create a public service opportunity for graduating seniors to spend a week before commencement using their MIT education to benefit a community by engaging in public service. There were two groups of seniors that traveled to Philadelphia, PA, and Hamlin, WV, to assist local schools with math, science, and engineering curriculum development.
