Violin Andalusian Romance - I Feel Pretty?

Sarate's Romanza Anduluza has an essence of 'I Feel Pretty'. Could this piece have inspired Leonard Bernstein when he composed it? Bravo to Ari Umans, who performs this piece with infinite zest. Thanks to Amanda Mok for keeping up with him on the piano. A little bit of Sheharazade may be detected as well. Mmmm, a Moorish influence in Spain? Thanks to teacher Antoine van Dongen and to Marcus Thompson of the MIT Chamber Music Society, Killian Hall, April 23, 2011.
