Eric Grimson—Image Guided Surgery (1995)

Professor Eric Grimson is internationally recognized for his research in computer vision, especially in applications in medical image analysis. In 2011, Grimson, a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, was named the Chancellor of MIT after serving as head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from 2005 to 2011.
